Snowport 2025 will transform the Seaport into a winter holiday wonderland
Snowport 2025 returns to the Seaport in Boston for its seventh straight year starting in November with shopping, a tree lighting, curling, and more winter holiday fun.

Each November since 2018, Boston’s Seaport neighborhood has transformed into a winter wonderland with Snowport, a multi-month celebration of the holiday season. Snowport 2025, which opens on Friday, Nov. 7, will bring together more than 125 businesses and 20 dining concepts selling their wares at the Snowport Holiday Market, located at 100 Seaport Blvd.
Along with all your gift shopping needs for the holidays, Snowport visitors will be able to enjoy outdoor activities, including iceless curling, a bustling Christmas tree market, and a pair of lighting ceremonies — Snowport’s holiday tree lighting ceremony Light Up Seaport (Dec. 5), and its annual menorah lighting (Dec. 21).
Snowport 2025 is run by WS Development, the mixed-use developer that owns the space on Seaport Boulevard that serves as the main holiday activity hub.
Snowport has contributed to Boston (and the Seaport neighborhood in particular) becoming a “vibrant holiday destination,” according to a statement shared by Boston Mayor Michelle Wu in a press release.
“Snowport is an excellent opportunity to support our small businesses during the winter season, while bringing together residents and tourists alike for holiday festivities,” Wu said in a statement. “Through continuous collaboration with our partners, the City is able to support these community-driven events year round. I’m grateful for these partnerships that enable the Seaport to transform into a vibrant holiday destination, and I’m excited to participate in the festivities this winter.”
Below, we’ve organized everything you need to know about Snowport 2025, from the must-visit vendors at The Holiday Market to information on the annual tree lighting.

Snowport 2025 hours, tickets
Do you need tickets to Snowport 2025?
Snowport 2025 remains free for general admission. Due to the potential for long lines and large crowds during peak holiday season, Snowport 2025 is also offering a timed reservation option through its soon-to-launch Seaport Insider app.
App users can reserve a timed entry ticket Friday through Sunday for $14 general admission, $6 for veterans and children ages 6-17, and free for kids ages 5 and under.
$1 of each ticket goes toward Boston Xchange, a local nonprofit founded by Celtics forward Jaylen Brown that empowers “underrepresented creators and entrepreneurs by providing the resources, support, and opportunities needed to thrive.”

Now in its fifth season, The Holiday Market at Snowport will feature 125+ small businesses — 65 percent local to New England and 88 percent that identify as either Black, Indigenous, or people of color (BIPOC) owned and/or female-owned. Vendors will be selling gifts for everyone on your shopping list, including art, apparel, gourmet food items, and jewelry.
The Holiday Market isn’t just for shopping, though. If you’re looking for photo ops, swing by the 10-foot Mistletoe Arch, the oversized gifts at Presents Place, and the Winter Wish Wall, a 25-foot chalkboard where visitors write down their holiday wishes.
There’s also a music stage featuring local acts every Monday, as well as several local food and drink vendors. (More on that below.)
Looking for a hands-on activity? The Crafting Corner (sponsored by The LEGO Group) lets you create snowglobes, ornaments, and provides a free LEGO make-and-take snowman.
